Privacy

We collect as little as we can.

What we store

• Your email address, so you can sign in.
• The packs you make: the student's first name you type, the instrument, level and focus, and the music we write.
• How many packs you made this month, for plan limits.
• If you pay, your payment is handled by PayPal. We never see or store card numbers.
• Practice scores. Practice with feedback listens in the browser; nothing is recorded, and only the score is saved.

Where it is stored

On Google Cloud and Firebase, in Montreal, Canada where available. Music recordings are stored on Google Cloud Storage with links that are hard to guess.

Who can see a pack

Anyone you give a pack link or practice link to can open it. Please use first names only for students. Pieces made on the free plan may appear in our public library, without any names.

What we never do

We do not sell your data or show ads. Student names stay with us: the music is written from the instrument, level, focus and style only.

Your choices

Download all your data any time from your account page. Email hello@practicepieces.com and we will delete your account and packs within 30 days. If we ever close, you get at least 90 days' notice.
